“Una de cal”, an artistic intervention that redefines the Pamplona bullring by temporarily transforming it into a public beach constructed with umbrellas, towels, mats, and other summer items. By replacing the bullfighting ritual with a playful and communal space, the work prompts critical reflection on the symbolic uses of the bullring and its capacity to mutate into an environment for rest and social interaction. The intervention activates a contemporary reading of urban space, questioning deeply rooted traditions and proposing new possibilities for its use. Thus, the project demonstrates how art can reimagine collective identities and stimulate social dialogue.
